The 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe is equipped with a 2.0L I4 Turbo plug-in hybrid engine that generates up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This strength allows you to tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The best part is that this engine gets an EPA-estimated 57 combined MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline-equivalent) and a manufacturer’s estimated 24-mile all-electric range. In total, you’ll have an estimated 443-mile driving range. This means you can efficiently commute to work as well as take long road trips without taking too many refueling breaks.
Under the body of the 4xe, you’ll have a standard Quadra-Trac II® 4×4 system with Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System. The Quadra-Trac II® system can send 100% of available torque to the proper axle when it senses tire slippage.
